Over the years I have been fortunate enough to travel and research alongside professors at my undergraduate and graduate institutions to explore the way architecture manifests itself from place to place. Each place provokes either a feeling or a realization about how something was designed. To recognize that architecture increasingly participates within systems of capital and power, which offer new opportunities to reposition the role of space in the construction of the city and its political subjects. Simplicity or complexity was often times easily emphasized as are relationships between people and nature, illustrating the dichotomy between space and those who interact with space. The following imagery are those of my own, depicting my travels and interests in art, architecture, and the urban fabric of the past and present.
