Dusseldorf, Germany

Spring 2019

Following my studies in France, I spent my spring break traveling other parts of Europe to look at notable architecture and city planning. Being an important shipping port city across history, Dusseldorf’s identity has shifted amongst the years, being heavily destroyed in WWII. Most of the city is fairly new replacing warehouses and silos with postmodern architecture and expanding on its business district which holds various major corporations and is considered to be the fashion capital of Germany.
